All About Caribbean Stud Poker

The Caribbean Stud variation of poker is rapidly gaining recognition like Texas Hold'em poker because it is a very easy game to understand and you can play it with its face value.

Caribbean Stud poker can trace its beginnings in the Caribbean and are patterned with the rules used in five card stud poker. The game offers a variable option to the usual casino table games with the chance to put down a side wager and get the jackpot.

Some of the jackpots that are available in Caribbean Stud poker are progressive or grows larger in each round. Players can win a lot of money from these games. Caribbean Stud poker is not like the normal variation of poker in a way that you have to fight it out against other players in the game.

Caribbean Stud poker is under the category of games that include Pai Gow poker, Let It Ride and Three Card poker. The rules that are needed in the normal variation of poker should be learned by players.

Some of the rules that are followed in Caribbean Stud poker are 1st, the Caribbean Stud poker game begins with players putting an ante wager at the same cash as the minimum needed in the ante location of the table.

2nd, players should also decide whether they want to put down an additional side wager for their jackpot.

3rd, the player then gives each players five cards that are in a face down position plus an additional four cards in a face down position. The dealer will then get a single card for themselves in a face up position.

4th, after players review their cards, they should decide whether they will fold or call. If the player decided to call, they should place their additional wager double the previous amount from their former wager in the ante.

5th, after players made their decision, the dealer will reveal their hand. In order to win in the game, the dealer must have an ace and a king in their possession. If the dealer does not qualify, the players will be given back their ante.

6th, if the card hand of the dealer qualifies, the dealer will then compare their hand against each of the player. If the hand of the dealer is better, players will lose their ante and they have to call their wagers.

7th, if the player's hand is better than the dealer, the players will receive more cash for their ante while their call will be rewarded regarding the pay table.

Caribbean Stud poker is popular with gamblers because it has an option to place a dollar wager and winning a large prize as a result.
